Vote for Your Favorite Harvest Story for a Chance to Win $500
INDIANAPOLIS — Dec. 1, 2012 — Growers across the United States have shared their most memorable harvest stories in the My Harvest Story contest. Now it’s your turn to vote for your favorite. One lucky voter will win $500 cash.
Mycogen Seeds and Farm Progress reviewed the entries, and have selected five finalists from each of the three regions that are posted for public voting.
“It was hard to narrow down all of the great photos, essays and videos we received from growers, and now we’re excited to see which of the finalists win,” says Eric Sitzman, corn product manager for Mycogen Seeds.
To vote, simply register at
www.farmprogress.com/MyHarvestStory and place your vote. You can vote once per day for your favorite story until Dec. 31.
Mycogen Seeds and Farm Progress are awarding nine prizes for the harvest stories that receive the most votes. Three first-place winners, one from each of three regions, will receive a John Deere® Gator™ XUV 550 and $5,000 credit for MYCOGEN® brand REFUGE ADVANCED® powered by SmartStax® seed. Six runners-up, two from each region, will receive a Weber® Genesis® grill and a $1,000 credit for MYCOGEN brand REFUGE ADVANCED seed. In addition, one registered voter will win $500 cash. Winners will be announced in January.
