As President & Chief Operating Officer, Carl Eibl oversees operations of the company's Mycogen Plant Sciences seed business and Mycogen Crop Protection, Inc., which develops and markets biopesticide products and provides crop protection services. He also has management responsibility for Mycogen's finance and legal departments.

Before joining Mycogen in 1992, Eibl was a corporate attorney with the law firms of , respectively, Brobeck, Phlegler & Harrison in San Diego, and Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison in New York.

Eibl earned a BA degree in economics and English literature from Cornell University, and a JD degree from the Boston University School of Law.
