As Vice President, Human Resources, Naomi Whitacre is responsible for directing the organizational development, human resource, internal communication and facility activities for all business segments of the company.

Before joining Mycogen, Whitacre spent 25 years in organization development and human resource functions in both public and private institutions including academic administration, consumer products, financial services and high tech electronics. She has been responsible for the development and execution of all facets of human resource management including policy development, staffing, compensation, group health, life and retirement benefits, performance management, regulatory compliance, employee training and career development.

Whitacre holds a B.S. degree in social psychology from Queens College, New York and is currently an instructor for the Human Resources Certificate program at the University of San Diego.
