Operations Technician

Location: Marshalltown, Iowa

Department: Operations

Position Reports to: Plant Manager

Experience Required: One-two years Operations experience with the ability to follow both written and oral instructions. Must be able to legibly complete forms and do simple math calculations. Must also be able to lift 65 lbs. and clearly see 3 inch symbols at 25 feet.

Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have or be able to pass test for pesticide applicators license.

Description of Duties/Responsibilities:

Provides Operations support in the plant and field by performing a wide variety of tasks and activities including: bagging, loading/unloading trucks, planting, detasseling, rogueing, conditioning and treating. Operating plant and field production equipment. Performs routine maintenance as required. May also operate commercial vehicles used to haul product and equipment including tractors, sprayers, flamers, and detasseling machines.
