Who We Are
Mycogen Seeds has its roots in seed and biotechnology. While other seed companies have just recently begun working with biotechnology, our biotech and seed experience has allowed us to develop and deliver quality seed products farmers need to remain profitable.

Mycogen Seeds has strong links to the traditional seed business that represents a heritage of more than 85 years of seed development and marketing. Mycogen has state-of-the-art production facilities and research stations to develop and deliver tremendous genetic potential in high-quality seed.

Mycogen’s research and development program focuses on three broad principles:
• Provide farmers with high-yielding hybrids and varieties that have the means to overcome environmental challenges, which limit top performance.
• Develop specific plant characteristics that add value to our customers’ business.
• Deliver the highest-quality cold germ-tested seed in the industry.

Founded in 1982, Mycogen Seeds became an affiliate of Dow AgroSciences LLC in 1998.

Together with Dow AgroSciences, we think and work globally to develop and deliver the best products locally. The Mycogen� brand Corn, Sunflower, Canola, Soybeans, Sorghum and Alfalfa seed that farmers plant on their farm today may include genetic building blocks from our partners in the United States, western Europe or South America.
