Active Ingredient: acetochlor

Profile: Surpass® EC herbicide is the leading acetochlor product for dependable control of foxtail, barnyard grass, crabgrass, fall panicum and small-seeded broadleaf weeds.


Features

  • Excellent control of annual grasses
  • Effective control of small-seeded broadleaf weeds
  • Requires only 1/4 inch of rain for activation
  • Can be applied from early preplant to early postemergenct timings
  • Fits conventional, reduced till and no-till corn production systems
  • Can be used alone or in combination with many pre and postemergence corn herbicides

Application Timing:
Early preplant (up to 30 days before planting)

Preplant surface or preplant incorporated (within 14 days of planting)

Preemergent surface (incorporate with rotary hoe if sufficient activating rainfall does not occur within seven days)

Early postemergence (corn up to 11 inches tall)

Application Rates:
1.5 to 3.75 pt./A
