Management Guidelines

  • Plant at medium-high to high plant densities for best results.
  • Works well in ridge-till fields where residue management is needed.
  • Responds to top management — fertility, fungicide and irrigation.
  • Avoid fields that have potential for severe gray leaf spot (GLS). Scout for GLS and treat with fungicide if economic threshold is reached.
  • Widely adapted east to west across the central Corn Belt.
  • Very good tolerance to Goss's wilt for western environments.
  • Well adapted to the heat and drought stresses of the western Corn Belt.
