Management Guidelines

  • For optimal performance, maintain on heaver soils with good water-supplying capacity and fertility practices.
  • Semi-flex ear type supports variable planting densities; optimal performance achieved at moderate plant populations.
  • Works well in continuous corn or corn/soybean rotation.
  • Strong performance from east-to-west.
  • When storing TMF hybrids in a pile or a bunker, recommended moisture levels for harvesting range from 65 percent to 68 percent; for bags, 62 percent to 68 percent.
  • Monitor harvest moisture closely as harvest approaches. Hybrids may be drier or wetter than physical appearance indicates.
